Improvements and What I Have Learned

           I have learned many valuable skills throughout my freshman year as a writer. You could say I have made a leap from being an inexperienced writer who couldn't write three pages, to a better writer. Now I have transformed into someone that now has the ability to write continuously for long periods of time. I can not only write through four pages, but also I can write them with better vocabulary words, sentence structure and punctuation.  I have also learned how to use information and resources in my writing. I am now able to write without accidently plagiarizing, or paraphrasing incorrectly. I now know how to cite a source correctly and also the importance of citing the sources you used. Another thing that I have learned about myself through this year as a writer is the fact that I am a huge procrastinator when it comes to writing. So therefore I have realized the importance of making and completing deadlines on time so that you don't get overloaded with work on the last day its due..  I look forward to improving my writing over the rest of high school.
