My Writing Strengths

         During this year, I feel like I have exhibited and discovered many strengths as a writer. One of these being that I am very good at backing up quotations with evidence when it is needed. This is helpful for me because when using quotations I feel like I always describe them to back up their meaning. However I need more help on knowing where to put evidence and prevent dating spiderman, and talking to grandfather situations.
         Another one of my strengths as a writer is being able to proofread my own writing. This is a great strength to have because I can be independent in revising drafts and to know how to fix certain things in my writing. Also this trait allows me to in a way look at my own writing and reflect on how to make it better. And the last one of my traits is that I am very open to suggestions to make my writing better. This is probably one of my best traits because I am always open to suggestions from other people to improve my writing. I love going to the writing center and listening to how they believe I can improve parts of a piece of writing whether that is one paragraph or the whole paper. I also like peer editing because their are a lot smarter people in my class than me that could help me improve my writing greatly.
