There are many areas that I have made improvements on throughout my ninth grade year, but there are still many areas of writing where I need to improve on. I need to be able to embed quotations better, find and fix run-on sentences without turning them into comma splices, and also the biggest thing that I need to improve on is being able to do in text citation sources correctly and paraphrase correctly. All of these things that I have listed I have improved on throughout this year but also I hope that I can continue getting better at these. All of these areas that need improvement are very important to me to become a good writer. I also need to be able to use quotes better so that they make sense in the context of the sentences I use them in. One of my biggest lessons is that plagiarism is something you be very careful about throughout your life, even after school. I will get continuously better at writing through experience and learning. I really feel like getting tripped up and making mistakes has improved my writing through trial and error. I don't plan to make those mistakes again.
